Information We Collect
Like most standard websites, we use log files. This information may include Internet protocol (IP) addresses, referrer domains, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), platform type, and date/time stamp. We use the information we collect to measure the number of visitors to the different sections of our site, and to help us make our site more useful to them. However, none of the information stored in our log files, including but not limited to IP addresses, is linked to personally identifiable information.
We will not obtain personally identifying information about you when you visit our site, unless you choose to provide such information to us on a voluntary basis (for example, by using the Contact Us form). Identika will not in any way share this information with a third party – either for free or by selling it – without your consent (We hate SPAM as much as you do).
Disclosure of Information
Identika may disclose aggregate, anonymous data – based on information collected from users – to investors and potential partners. In such cases, only statistical information will be disclosed and personally identifiable data will be kept strictly confidential and not be shared. In case Identika is sold, the information collected from users may be transferred to the new owners.
Though we make every effort to preserve your privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law, if we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary and required to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on Identika.
