Client: NIOSH-CDC
Three PSA videos created to bring awareness of MSDs (Musculoskeletal Disorders) among Hispanics working in the food service industry.
Approximately one third of all work-related injuries and illnesses in the United States are due to musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Workers who experience MSDs often take more days to return to work than those with other types of injuries and illnesses.
Hispanic restaurant owners are a population in need of information about MSD prevention. This is because the food services industry is the second largest category for Hispanic-owned businesses with paid employees, and this sector is growing rapidly in the United States.
