Ashburn, Virginia (October 20, 2022) –Identika’s CEO, Fernando Beltran, was interviewed on Authority Magazine today to talk about the future of artificial intelligence (AI).

Fernando Beltran shared his insights on the present and future direction of AI in this in-depth interview. He discussed how AI relates to Identika’s marketing and advertising campaigns, in particular on its award-winning vaccine communications campaign. Among many other things, he also shared his thoughts on how AI can be used as a tool to counter misinformation.

Beltran said that his main concern is the risk of misinformation being amplified on a huge scale. With deep fakes, bots, and other AI technologies, it’s getting harder to tell what’s real and what’s fake.

“The development of these tools has led to people feeling skeptical about the sources of information they come across, which makes our job much more difficult – especially when it comes to vaccines.”

He also shares his thoughts regarding the ongoing debate between prominent technology leaders about whether advanced AI has the future potential to pose a danger to humanity or not.
