A Clearer Path to Home Energy Guidance

Fairfax County Office of Environmental and Energy Coordination was preparing a homeowner-facing pilot designed to offer personalized energy-saving guidance. The project needed a public identity that could replace an internal working title with language people could immediately understand and trust.

A Brand Built Around the Homeowner

Identika named the program Fairfax Energy Compass and developed the visual identity, logo, and Your Home Energy Guide tagline. The compass-and-power-button mark created a clear connection between energy decisions and practical homeowner direction.

A Connected Launch System

The identity was extended into branded social posts, flyers, newsletter copy, and postcards. Each piece gave homeowners a consistent entry point to guidance on lower energy bills, insulation, and free home-energy support while remaining aligned to the Sustain Fairfax brand system.
